Glorious, in color; attention to detail and a visual delight. The story, told simply and directly involves a little boy, raised by succored by Wolves, in combination with a Bear, Baloo and a wonderful Panther.
The animals are animated, and speak, but you accept this because of the utmost care and perfection of each individual character. The voices of these remarkable creatures, headed by well known actors are perfection to the limit.
This movie was so good. So many great actors and actresses. I could easily watch this movie again and probably will.
My family and I loved it and there are many funny scenes. This remake is better then the orignal. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone.

Favreau did a stellar job on this remake! With threats from the chilling tiger Shere Khan voiced menacingly by Idris Elba Mowgli must leave the wolves and find his own people.
Along the way he meets a sneaky snake voiced seductively by Scarlett Johansson and a laid back bear named Baloo voiced with charm by the always great Bill Murray.
These series of events barely connect with each other and the film eventually finds a climax where the hero prevails but little else really matters.
Mowgli is constantly saved from any threats and the actor does such a poor job in gaining any respect from the viewer as he clumsily reads through his lines and stares blankly at cgi creatures.
All of the animals are uniquely structured with meticulous design to put you in a real world of walking talking animals with genuine personalities.
It was amazing to watch however if only the story and protagonist were more impactful. Guided by a no-nonsense panther Ben Kingsley and a free-spirited bear Bill Murray , the young boy meets an array of jun gle animals, including a slithery python and a smooth-talking ape.

Favreau did a stellar job on this remake! The Jungle Book has always been one of my favorite Disney films, and I have fond childhood memories of these characters.
I was most excited to see how a "real-life" adaptation would turn out! This film was synonymous with certain songs; of those, only one was fully reminiscent of its predecessor.
All were recognizable though, and I thought they were just beautifully done. Even with new scenery, nostalgia rings strong in undertones. The subtle slow shot was a small touch that left a big impact.
The bees always sting. Just wonderful. My kids loved it, too! A perfect family movie night! This brings back the jungle book's amazing story as a child, and i don't think the changes to it effected the overall story, one bit.

Even the tiger had a reason to be as mean as he was. The wolves actually looked like real wolves; where perhaps the ear posture and lips wasn't perfect in terms of wolf behavior, it was almost spot-on for when a wolf is defensive.
