I originally thought it was "Battleship" which is by far a superior film. The CGI in this movie is so cheaply done it is laughable. Definately a candidate for 's worst movie in the Razzies.
A great film to compare with. My son said the other similar film was better, now he's not sure. Arrived well packaged, on time, and at a great price.

Wait, what did he say?! Low budget, sorta good acting but it's better. Worth the watch. But then so would Battleship.
Just watch it. This movie is a laugh riot. The opening scene shows just how much Naval power is required simply to defend an aircraft carrier which of course didn't saved that task force.
I have not seen such cheesy special effects since watching Godzilla movies that were made in the 's on Saturday afternoon television.
The first SEAL force goes off, but loses everything in the water when their rubber boat collides with the alien craft. But the 35 mm camera that supposedly was around the neck of one of the SEALs still functioned.
Sorry, that isn't going to happen. A camera and water is not compatible. And I think they mentioned they only had 36 shots, while the film roll later recovered was clearly a 24 shot roll.
At least the constant statements that the USS Iowa was the most powerful battleship ever launched seems to be a correct statement.
Mindless entertainment for a rainy afternoon. And that is not saying much. Its Laughable,That No. It Be Easier to us. That Electrical Power is Neutralized.
The movie is just terrible. No noteworthy acting, laughable special effects, and just cringe worthy filming. Don't rent it, if you have prime there are tons of other things you can do in two hours If you don't have prime and you did rent the movie I warned you.
