It's more friendship and sex based. If you're looking for accurate trans male representation, you might find it here, despite all the gritty bits that feel dated.

If you can handle the awkward, uncomfortable moments-- sometimes full of transphobia-- that the film is hell-bent on putting Lukas though, I'd say it's definitely worth the watch.

It's relatable, heartbreaking, sometimes funny. The movie so tastefully and successfully gave you an idea of what one trans person felt like; trapped between gay and straight worlds.
